Why you should watch KingsThough cancelled after only one season (fuck you, NBC), Kings remains one of the most quality shows I have ever seen. Of particular note is Sebastian Stan’s character, Jack Benjamin, the crown prince of Gilboa that keeps himself closeted to please his father (his father explains that to be a successful king, Jack cannot be ‘what God made him’). He cries a lot, and it’s beautiful. I really cannot say enough good things about this show.

Someday this will work for me.

I loved the old Beetlejuice cartoon. It didn’t have the best plots or animation much of the time (to its credit many late 80’s and early 90’s were low on the quality scale) but it had a shit load of puns, gags, pranks, and dumb humor that came about through magic and trickery. An element I still really love!

I actually was introduced to the cartoon before the movie. Although I do love the movie I remember being a lil bummed that Betelgeuse was the antagonist and not Lydia’s buddy like how it was on the show.

That is my exact experience with this franchise.
